How this DISC test works
The questions
You assess 24 practical situations and choose what fits you most and least in each situation.
D — Dominance
Pace, challenge, results and directness.
I — Influence
Enthusiasm, persuasion and social contact.
S — Steadiness
Patience, cooperation and continuity.
C — Conscientiousness
Analysis, quality and accuracy.
Scoring
Each ‘most’ choice adds two points to its DISC dimension and each ‘least’ choice subtracts one. All four raw scores are shifted equally to remain positive and are then normalised to a total of 100. The percentages are therefore relative within this report, not percentages of a personality.
Responsible use
This short, original questionnaire has no published norm group, reliability study or validation study. Use the result for personal reflection and conversation, never as a diagnosis or the sole basis for recruitment, employment, education or care decisions.
This is an original practical behavioural indication. Psychometric claims require validation, norm-group and reliability research.
